Poor Eliza Scanlan has died in all three movies I’ve seen from here so far she can’t catch a break. Elements I really liked, the bleak atmosphere, the fantastic ensemble cast with one particular standout being Rob Pattinson who completely changes his voice for this. The Narration felt very incongruous to the flow of the story however, literally spoon feeding how characters felt in an specific moment. I think the story would’ve worked better as a miniseries, as they’re so many subplots and characters to follow and care about you end up not feeling much at their demises. One of my fav scenes of the year between Holland and Pattinson in the church though, wish there was more of that throughout
