    Before Sunrise

This film is so breathtakingly beautiful in every possible way. I loved every single moment and never wanted it to end.

I never imagined that such a wonderful and unique connection between two people could be captured on camera so perfectly. Jesse and Céline’s conversations, both casual and deep, on several occasions moved me to tears. Their feelings towards one another were so pure, and expressed with such genuine warmth and openness.

What makes me love this film the most is…

Kore-eda has my heart wrapped around his tender, camera-wielding fingers once again. What I wouldn’t give to see the world — and especially other people — through his eyes.

It is legitimately the best show I’ve ever seen and i am really sad there won’t be any more of it. I couldn’t recommend something more to anyone who is interested in TV. It’s seriously a work of art.

Yeah I just can’t believe it’s all over

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

Just before the summer solstice ended here in eastern Canada, I decided to watch Midsommar. Honestly, the hype surrounding this film paired with the appropriate timing, I was really hoping this would be great. Sadly, for me it fell quite flat.

The beginning I thought was fantastic; it totally had my attention and interest and I didn’t expect for that to go away. There was an incredibly disturbing scene early in the film, paired with a very moving performance from…
