    Apocalypse Now

This is why I watch movies.

This is cinema in its best and purest form. Apocalypse Now is perfect in every aspect of filmmaking and somehow is also able to transcend the medium with its soul (the result of a soul-crushing production) and its grandeur.

It serves as an argument both in favor of and against the auteur theory. Clearly not something you can achieve without someone who had a vision like Coppola did, but also definitely not a sustainable…

  • Echo

Echo is a film made of 56 vignettes, each one shot which last around a minute, that relate daily life in Iceland around Christmas and New Years Day. Its sense of humanity mixed with the country's beautiful scenery makes it the ultimate comfort movie.

I'd normally say wait for a snowy day during the holidays to watch it with a cup of hot cocoa but given all we've experienced in the last few months, you deserve it right now!

    That'd make a hell of a movie!

Anyways, Buffaloed is like the first half of Wolf of Wall Street, but with Zoey Deutch, who you may know from being amazing in everything she's in, lots of chicken wings and a weird love/hate obsession for the Buffalo Bills.

This really deserves more attention than it is getting.

Hey it's your generic love story but it's about gay people.

Letterboxd: Better give this a 5 star then!

Church burnings and murder are amongst the things that this underground movement proclaims.

This movie was directed by Jonas Åkerlund,…
