The most important and basic part of a comedy is to be funny and Save Yourselves achieves that task even if it fails in other areas.
The movie has an improvisational style amongst it’s two leads, Sunita Mani and John Reynolds, who have an awkward, clunky, and authentic chemistry which is part of the charm.
The premise of this film is wildly creative. It’s an apocalypse movie through the perspective of a young couple going through troubles, while also being a reflection of their generation.
